Rokka&Rolla Women's Packable Down Puffer Jacket Coat - Lightweight & Breathable Review

I was looking for a lightweight down jacket for hiking but didn't have the money to spend a few bucks on a name brand jacket only to get dirty and smelly and didn't have time to shop at Ebay. This jacket is perfect! The colors were a bit garish for everyday wear, but perfect for the trail. I wore it overnight at 32° and felt comfortable. I am a cold lover but would happily buy this jacket again.

Used it for a hike in Havasupai. It was raining, it was flooding, it was very cold and damp. We've already had temperatures of up to 29° and this ultra-light down jacket keeps you warm, but only to a limited extent. I deducted 1 star because not only did it keep me warm, I also needed a waterproof jacket. Also, it is not waterproof and if it gets wet, it will take some time to dry. I liked in general and I like everything about this jacket! When I first saw it I was thrilled because the jacket was the same color as the Buffalo Sabers NHL hockey team! I had a matching set of Buffalo Sabers gloves and a scarf that also had the gold color added! I have spent hours reading reviews of different brands of these jackets. I narrowed it down and ended up here. I love it . Other brand comments say they run small due to Asian sizing, but this brand fits true to size. I'm 5.1 and 150, wear a size 6/7 jeans and ordered a large because I read a comment that it runs a bit small, not no. This just arrived yesterday and I want to write a review before time is up. First, most of these "packable" jackets and vests tend to be dull colors, and "red" is a brick color, or even close to burgundy. Not this one! The red is a bright cherry red with a brilliant undertone that I find very appealing. Second, most jackets and vests are too tight at the bottom and aren't designed to fit the average person's thighs. It's larger at the hem, but not so wide that the extra girth is too noticeable.
