So disappointing it was too big, it ate me. I'm 107lbs 5"2 and it was below my knees and looked like a huge bag on me! I ordered the smallest that I could hoping it would fit, but unfortunately it didn't.

I ordered medium because I don't like my shorts fitting me like skinny jeans. So glad I did. They are roomy and so comfy! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I needed someone to help me tie my long straps in a way that didn't look ridiculous.

Got many compliments on this style. The straps are long enough to fit even larger figures. I personally like to tie them at the back and tuck the ends in. But you can definitely turn them into arches if that's your aesthetic. I have a 25" waist and 36" hips so I ordered a small one. The fit was just right for the butt. I don't really like the fit though so you can go down for a tighter fit.

advantages: very cute and comfortable. This can be worn with pockets on the front or back and looks cute either way. Measurements for this are exactly as stated in most reviews. For a fitted look, I would decrease your original size. However if you want a looser fit I would go to your normal size. I went for a slim fit so I went for medium but I'm usually tall. I'm also very petite so the length of the shorts is perfect and covers the entire butt, not overpowering at all. I chose to wear it backwards (back pockets) and it works great. I have a small one and it fits well. However, there was plenty of room in the waist/back area. I'm not usually flat at the bottom. My hips are ok. 42". So I recommend ordering at least 1, if not 2, sizes down if you don't want the oversized shorts to look like a diaper. Also, the ties allow you to adjust the length a bit.
