The brushes on this example are slightly softer. Other than that, there isn't much of a difference between the original and this one. The replacement took 5 minutes: a screwdriver is enough.

My Roomba no longer picks up dirt or pet hair. I have read that this part should be replaced annually. So I bought this. The part was easy to install and my Roomba was ready to use again immediately after installation.

I was trying everything when my Roomba started giving error 5 (clean brushes). I replaced the brushes. I've opened up all the gears to clean and re-grease, but to no avail. I did that and now it works. I think the engine on the old one died. Anyway, mine works now and I don't have to vacuum. bless.

I installed the unit within minutes of receiving it in the mail. I have a Roomba that is at least 5 years old but one of the wires on the brush frame has broken. Since this part is less than $50, it was worth ordering and swapping out the old part, not the new Roomba. I hope I have 5 more years! With the exception of the brushes, this was the only part I had to replace and it was EASY and a perfect fit.
