Description of ROP Shop Impeller FK1204 1 Outboard

The ROP Shop replacement Water Pump Impeller Kit for Mercury Force FK1204-1, FK12041, FK1204 Outboard. Specs - Refer to image 2 for more information. Includes - (1) Impeller, (1) Housing, (1) Plate, (2) Gaskets, (1) Cup, (1) Tube, (1) Grommet & (1) Keyway; comes as shown in the first image. Fits/For: 1989-1994 Mercury Force 85, 90, 120, 150 HP outboards. Please be sure to check your part or model number to ensure this is the correct water pump kit for your unit. Also, please note this may replace multiple part numbers.

Disappointing Impeller for Outboard Motors

Based on my experience with this impeller I would not recommend it to any automotive enthusiast. Although it was easy to install, it failed to function properly and caused my engine to overheat. The quality of the materials seemed subpar, leading me to believe it wouldn't last very long. .

Poor quality, no bakelite

Ordered this kit...this body is poor quality after sale. Started installing the recommended torque of 40# and barely got to 30 and it broke. The material is not as strong as Bakelite. This kit does not come with any special handling instructions! What a pity! Luckily I was able to use my old US made OEM case. Would rather use the new case! I have to replace it!
