Our bed sits on underbed drawers (double height) that are about 3 feet high. Also, our bed is adjustable (head and legs can be raised and lowered). This makes the overall height about 4 1/2 feet. These steps are perfect for getting into bed. They are very durable and very easy to assemble.

I tore my left knee cruciate ligament and my right rotator cuff in a bad fall. My bed is quite high and it became difficult for me to climb in. This stool was easy to assemble. It is very durable. I step on it confidently, not afraid of it collapsing. The surface is structured. However, by attaching protectors, it becomes more non-slip. Also, it is very light so you can easily move it to make your bed. It is as beautiful as it is useful. I recommend this product

Although it didn't have pre-drilled holes as others have mentioned, the teak version I bought screwed together very easily and if you take your time things do lined up exactly how you want it, the final product is beautiful. What I didn't like was that the screws didn't go all the way in and 2 screws got tangled and wouldn't turn all the way in, making the stool not as stable as it should be. That in itself messed up the whole concept of the chair as it is a really good and satisfying product.
