Worse than a shady pawn shop

Apparently nobody checks them before sending them to customers. When the ring arrived it was obvious the diamond went through a huge crack. The ring lacked any sparkle and the diamond itself was extremely dull, much worse than its clarity.

Ring size is wrong.

Great ring for the money. The only problem is that I ordered a 6 and got a 7. I took it to the jeweler and they measured the ring on a sizer (don't know what it's called) and he said it's a 7. So if I give it back try I get another 7 or worse Stone? I'm happy with the stone but I don't have to pay to have it reduced to the size ordered. UPDATE: The second ring was also a size 7.

It would be better if most of the inclusions were visible from the side, but...

The inclusion is actually 2 large visible carbon deposits that you can see if you look straight at them. It would be better if the spots were mainly visible from the side, but they are right on the face. i can return it I'll show her tonight and let her decide. 1k for 900 is a good price. But it's very poor visually and from an angle that's visible when you look at it.

Here's the thing, you get what you pay for. $1,000 plus tax gives you a listed I-3 quality stone. This usually means there are multiple inclusions in the stone that are visible to the naked eye. Maybe a grain or two. This ring arrived with a crack in the center of the stone. If there was an I-5, it would be it. Verdict: Yes, it's a karat. yes it is real Yes, the cut is straight.
