🪑 Set of 2 Red Urban Style Solid Wood Leatherette Padded Parson Chairs by Roundhill Furniture Review

I bought 4 of these chairs for Christmas 2016 (bought late November 2016). I liked the look and the red color was good. However, one of the chairs collapsed yesterday while I was sitting on it. Very disappointing! I'm not a fat person but the wood just cracked and broke where it hit the front legs. I didn't hurt myself but I would definitely not recommend these chairs. We bought 4 in July 2016. One arrived broken from the start. All of them should have been discarded at the time but the other 3 seemed fine and the ratings were decent enough to give them a shot. I have purchased these chairs in the past knowing full well that I was involved in this TM. They scratch easily, both leatherette and wood. They are definitely not cat friendly and not friendly to teenagers. The rivets on the back pockets of the jeans scratch the imitation leather. Once a scratch appears, it will NEVER go away. Great for decoration. Please note that the color is darker red than in the photo. As you can see from my photo, the red is a few shades darker than the product photo. I would definitely not use these chairs for a dining table, they are more likely to be accent chairs or young adult/kids chairs due to their size. I really like these chairs. I bought 4 of these and dismissed the reviews that mentioned the legs were misaligned and I'm glad I did. I can't explain why others had problems as all the legs on my chairs are very stable. You have to be very careful which way you turn them when you put them on. It's easy to put them back. A few years ago I bought 3 sets of 2 of these chairs. A year later, one of the legs broke completely in half, although it was never ridden by anyone weighing more than 170 pounds and it was very rarely used.
