Easy to get replacements

These suction cups have a lifespan but mine lasted about a year and a half. Clever, I would think. Easy replacement when I need a new one.

Great suction cup, can be used for other dashcam mounts with the same type of connector

I bought this suction cup to replace one that the sun destroyed on my Akaso dashcam. It only worked because it had the same suction cup that the special dashcam mounts (on the suction cup) are hinged to. I unscrewed the stock Rove mount from the suction cup and replaced it with the one my Akaso is mounted on. Fits perfectly! Just make sure your particular dashcam mount hinges to the suction cup in the same way when using this on a different style dashcam than the standard Rove included. Great…

Works well

I've had a ROVE DVR for a few years now. absolutely no problem. Original suction cup still works. The only time it fails (falls off) is when the car is very hot - like when I park it in the hot sun all day on a very hot day. If the days are hot - no problem - only very hot when I put on the sunscreen and the mount gets hot. I took this sucker with me just in case as a backup - so I can take my ROVE on a trip where I have a rental car.
