RoWood Wooden Puzzle Mechanical Building Review

I have bought other 3D jigsaw puzzles from this brand and they have been great. But it's a mystery. Very fragile. Parts break easily when assembled. At least 25 pieces broke trying to put them together. In the end I just glue the broken parts together. The photo shows some of the fractures.

I had fun doing it. However, some parts aren't that strong and you really have to push down to insert them, so a few parts broke and I had to superglue them again to make them fit. Towards the end it becomes VERY difficult to keep everything in place. I have tiny fingers and fought badly. otherwise it's fun and gives you something to do!

Very detailed, well thought out puzzle. But very difficult to assemble. Details are thin and generally difficult to fit into the lugs. Always afraid that you might break them. If you use glue without matching it exactly, your problems can only get bigger and bigger, and in the end you might think it's pointless to go any further. I wish the pieces were a bit thicker so you can hold them properly and sand them when needed without worrying about them breaking.

I'm a fairly advanced fashion designer and this is really getting on my nerves. The small boss holes holding the model together were too small for the bosses. I know you want them to be just right enough to hold the thing together, but they're so small you'll end up breaking pieces trying to put them together. The wood used for this model is very fragile. As with most Rokr models, if you are not good with pictures and don't understand this model is not for you. The instructions aren't always very clear, but I consider them part of the job and it takes a lot of my brain to understand them. I would also say it's not for those who don't have a lot of patients or for those who don't enjoy using model knives to remove parts and breaking parts without using any of them. I love the way the car looks and like most of their stuff, it's a talking point.

Bought it for my 13 year old son, he didn't care so I (dad) decided to assemble it myself. My wife loves puzzles and has spent a lot of time collecting them. I think this is an analogue for guys. Great time killer (we don't have much free time so it took a while) and has a calming, almost therapeutic effect that will put you extra at ease. when things aren't going well.
