All 4 cats love it so far

So far all 4 of my cats eat it. The smell is not strong. I like little donut shaped donuts. Perfect size for a small cat's mouth. I have found that most cat foods are too big for each cat. All of my cats are on various weight loss diets. It's very low in calories (less than 300 calories per cup). I also feed them wet food, of course, but they all love crunchy bites. Sure, it's expensive, but if you love it and can tolerate it, it's worth it. They only get 1/4 cup a day each, so that's enough.

Not the same food as before!

Royal Canin Indoor Light 40 dry food does not match the picture. Please show the correct picture as it is misleading. The company changed the recipe and made it even higher calorie and lower fat which changed the taste, smell and taste and now my cat doesn't like it and I had to buy another brand from the pet store. Buyers should be able to see a real picture of the bag currently being sold at pet stores and pet stores online. This image is an old formula. I received the new formula from Revain

Not For My Cat to dry

The pieces are small at first. My cat doesn't like little pieces like that, but she ate them. First I started with a small amount of this food mixed with regular cat food. She saved it for last, but like I said, she ate it. Gradually I increased the amount. Until I came half and half. (Half would equate to 15 of them with about 10 of their normal meals.) This caused her to have diarrhea. I returned her to her normal diet. The diarrhea lasted 3 days. The second day I took her to the vet. Iโ€ฆ

You should give this new formula a skull and crossbones

I join others here who have had terrible experiences with this new formula. I have been feeding my two cats Royal Canin Dry Indoor Light for over 5 years and they love it. I started to find it hard and eventually they sent me this weight care junk as a replacement. I didn't think the formula was different. One of my cats started cutting all the hair off her stomach, legs and anything she could reach, even bloodying herself. I spent a lot of money and time at the vets to help her and nothingโ€ฆ

THE "NEW " ROYAL CANIN LIGHT: IT'S THE "NEW COCA " FOR CATS AND WHY.

Remember when Coca-Cola foolishly messed with their formula and gave us "New Coke," a soda that nobody in America asked for? Well, Royal Canin's decision to reformulate Indoor Light 40 gives me dรฉjร  vu - why couldn't they just leave it alone? I can't tell if this decision was driven by corporate bean counters looking to cut costs, as some here have suggested. But the results, at least with my cat, have not been good. My cat ONLY eats dry food and up until a few weeks ago the only food I everโ€ฆ

The changed shape of the pellets means my cat won't eat them

Our Orange Tabby kitten was placed on a restricted diet and the vet told him and his brother to be fed this food. Last year I bought a 14 pound bag and had trouble getting the cats used to it. My orange tabby preferred to starve first rather than eat it and if I tried to mix his old food he would choose his old food and eat it. This went on for several weeks. He ate RC food once and then threw it away after an hour and then ate it again. .BUT. With the last bag, the shape of the parts hasโ€ฆ
