🐱 Waterproof Non-Slip Gaming Mat Mouse Pad - Custom Cat Design (7.8x7.8x0.08Inch) Review

Bought for my daughter for her 5th birthday, no complaints from her. She only loved him because he was very cute. The black cat is more of an anthracite (because of the shiny fabric) which looks a bit fancy on her jet black table, doesn't bother her but I know some people are particularly into that sort of thing so thought I'd say here. The second photo shows what I mean.

I have the yin yang cat version (color round-27). The picture is adorable. As other reviewers have noted, colors aren't as vivid as they appear on screen. On my black and white mouse pad, the black isn't pitch black, but the white is more of an off-white or off-white, as if the black lining is showing through the thin white fabric. At the edges is a very thin thread edge (approx. 0.5 mm). When it arrived, the mouse pad smelled quite strongly of rubber. I wiped it with alcohol, now it doesn't…

My old mouse pad was more traditional. It had a foam pad, probably 1/4 inch thick, with a hard plastic layer on top, and the plastic cracked around the edges. This mouse pad is completely different. It's wafer-thin, with a rubbery finish on the back and a smooth, woven fabric on the top. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but it works great - no getting used to it. Cheap, cheap, cheap. That thing looks really cheap. Looks like a dirty potholder. It was supposed to be part of a gift basket but I would be embarrassed to give this to anyone. Strange stitching on the outside. This is different from another customer's photo, so the manufacturer may have lowered the quality of their manufacturing process.

I liked the design but wasn't sure about the material. This is a fabric over foam rubber, it doesn't slip but gets dirty easily. I admit I did charcoal painting next to it and it got a little dirty, maybe it would be easier to clean if it was vinyl. I will continue to use it but am looking for another one that is made out of a material that is low maintenance and easy to clean. It's still cute and works as it should. I would recommend it.

As a science student who was constantly drawing graphs and working with data, I was dying to buy a mouse and mouse pad. This mouse pad is just perfect! It is very cute and very convenient to use. It doesn't slip and works exactly as it should. Very good value for money. Definitely a buy recommendation.

The first mouse pad I ordered was canceled because it was damaged so I reordered it and they sent me a new one straight away. It arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. It's definitely a muted black, not a bright black as others have mentioned, but it looks great. I use it for work and get lots of compliments. It is very comfortable to use, the mouse glides over it smoothly and it has the perfect thickness. Would definitely buy again!

Maybe if it's for a kid with a very small mouse it might work, but for adults I wouldn't recommend it. Pros: The print is as expected, clear and pretty. The stitching, edges and finish appear to be excellent. The mouse is too small to slide smoothly. You have to constantly pick up the mouse and bring it to the very edge to hide the movement of the cursor on the screen. The part I received may be faulty, but the mouse sometimes doesn't slide properly.
