Very pretty and I like the way it looks in the room but there is an annoying continuous hum on the line that other phone lines don't have so there must be something in this phone . Also, for some reason, when a call comes in on a cell phone, but the phone on the other end doesn't answer, it rings, nothing goes through.

The tip is quite heavy - I think it feels solid and I think that's a plus but if weight is an issue then the phone might not be perfect. Great style - even drawing in notepad really works (I expected it to be purely decorative). Old-fashioned ring. Excellent sound quality - better than the much more modern and similarly priced phone it replaced.

I would give the product 5 stars if the numbers and symbols on the buttons were legible. In the photos, the buttons are black and the legends are light gold/brass. The phone I received was of good quality and weight (metal not plastic which was nice) but the lettering was almost as black as the buttons. Even under the lamp, the inscription is almost invisible.
