Perfect fossil shapes!

I use it every year in my class. I have used them with chocolate and clay and they are perfect for my fossil science department! With the help of plasticine, I cut them into pieces so that each child could make their own. I make chocolate at home beforehand, hiding in the layers of sediment of brownies. Kids loved finding them at our brownie dig site or painting them to take home as their own clay "fossils"!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Cheap Plastic Wrap

I returned this product because I was very disappointed. The photos are somewhat misleading as they appear to show individual square shapes made from a more durable material. It's nothing more than an 8 x 10 sheet of relatively thin plastic. This is a cheaper plastic than what you typically find in store packaging. Very disappointing. No stability and useless for my purposes. This may work well for some. I'm sure if you threw chocolates everything would be fine.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Empty

Meh, that won't work for my purposes.

Arrived early but was shabby as it was only in a padded envelope. I had to redo parts. It's a pretty thin material. The shape is larger than expected. I bought it specifically for the ammonite shape which doesn't fit me and isn't suitable for my purpose. It lacks the clarity I need and the sculpted photo is deceiving. (Others may not have this problem) All in all, this is a disappointment to me. I would not buy any other form from this seller.

Great mold for chocolate or plaster

This mold is very versatile. Can't believe there are bad comments. Some people may not have enough data on what the form actually consists of and just like to complain. They show the shape in 4 parts as it can be cut into squares or left as is, a whole sheet. It comes as a full sheet with all 4 shapes. You can imagine the discomfort when the uniform was sold in packs of 4 lol who needs that drama. Each shape is the size of a woman's palm. The plastic is the same quality as other chocolate molds

Pros
  • Clay molds
Cons
  • Expensive

Good quality but requires careful handling and storage.

I used stylecast which is harder than plaster. After lubricating the mold with a thin layer of cooking oil (petroleum jelly preferably!), I set the molds. They dried in 30 minutes and look flawless. Simply fill them to the brim and then gently turn them out onto a flat, dry and level surface. I drew them and they look realistic. This mold is ideal for chocolate or cool sweets. I think it doesn't stand up to repeated use at high temperatures or dishwashing. But if they are hand washed and dried…

Pros
  • ceramics and pottery
Cons
  • long delivery time
