The only worn part of our scratching post was the hammock. This fit perfectly and we didn't have to buy a new scratching post.

There were doubts about the strength, but this wire frame is strong. Attaches snugly and securely to my round cylindrical tubes with existing double ended screws. I just wish it came in different shades.

So my cat is a stretch and he finally broke the hammock that came with his scratching post, as it is his favorite place to sleep I had to have it replaced. I have a friend who had these cat tree hammocks and her cats loved them. I have a scratching post and didn't want to buy a brand new one just to put up hammocks so I started looking.
