The frame is beautiful and fits my 8.5 x 11 document perfectly. I have a problem with the cardboard backing. It doesn't fit as snugly against the back of the frame as it should. I couldn't place the watermark properly after inserting the document and it's very frustrating. Also, the hand on the back is pretty thin.

Definitely intended for both, but hung on the wall the stand does not fold flush with the backrest, so it protrudes a little. These are very good frames, don't get me wrong, they're just better to stand on. Despite the high resolution, the glass is VERY reflective. So depending on how the light hits it, you can't see what's in the frame. Where we have ours hanging, at my height, I can't see my right hand inside because of the glare.

My husband wanted some frames to display his awards at work. They should have been hung in his office. What I like about them is that while there is a way to set up a table, the hand doesn't extend beyond the frame. This means that there is no bulge on the floor when it is attached to the wall. In the past I've always had to rip off the brackets to get the frame to sit flat against the wall. I hope that makes sense. Unfortunately, this frame belongs to the second category. Pros: Inexpensive. Holds an 8 1/2" x 11" document. The back of the frame fell off at the first touch of the brace. This means that the "support" extends too far from the frame when the frame is standing alone, causing the frame to sit at an odd angle when horizontal and not supported at all when vertical is.
