These rubber bands are designed to hold bins securely in place when bin collectors take out the rubbish. You do the job! So far they have survived three [3] garbage collections and probably many more. I don't know how many uses I get from one piece of gum, but so far I'm impressed. I would recommend them.

These ties are the perfect size for large bins used for rubbish or recycling. They stretch to fit under the rim of the jar and onto the hinge of the lid. My only advice to buyers: DO NOT use scissors to open the paper envelope that the ribbons come in. I did and cut one of the strips. Open the envelope!
