Hold on to the metal bumper

It doesn't hold the panel tight enough during a brushless car wash. Also, it holds my license plate firmly to the front bumper of my '96 Jeep Cherokee in ID where front license plates are required.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works fantastic

Not sure if it would work the way I wanted or not but it worked great! I've had it for a few months now and I've hit 85 mph on the interstate and I've mounted it on a stand in front of my truck and it's holding up. No problem.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Good Quality Magnets

Excellent magnets, as expected. Note that your plastic/ABS bumper will not stick to it! They don't mention it in the description. I know magnets stick to metal - it's common sense, but not everyone knows what material their bumper is made of.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad

Worked great on my aftermarket jeep bumper so I didn't.

Worked great on my aftermarket jeep bumper so I didn't have to drill any holes! It's been up and running for over a month and hasn't moved! I will say that the rubber is a lighter blue than the picture to help them contrast with my black bumper. I'll probably just paint the top black and then they won't be visible at all.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Low Repairability

does the job. for trim and license plate frames

We got this for my husband's classic car. A lot of other people have mentioned that it won't hold the Autobahn. We have a 1932 Ford Fire Truck and it's fine. True, on a dual carriageway it never went above 45-55 and kept it normal. It is covered with rubber so as not to scratch the surface of the truck. It was easy to install and easy to slide. I would recommend it to a friend.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I'm silent

Does exactly what it's supposed to - very strong magnets.

Met my needs perfectly; On my Lexus RX, both license plate screws were stuck. I tried to take them off, unscrewing the heads. Yes, I know most people would quit after the first one. So back to the review - the staples here are vinyl covered and have very strong magnets. Grabbed the metal of my tailgate and wouldn't budge under any driving conditions. I even forgot the staples and took the thing to the car wash.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Failed: Frame

Purchased to fit a license plate to the rear bumper of a pop up trailer. Sitting in the driveway, the magnets held the record perfectly. First drive, arriving at campground 20 miles away with no license plate. The only positive was that a respectable citizen found the sign still attached to the magnets and turned it over to the local police for me to collect upon my return. Unfortunately, my first trip with this product fell through just a few weeks after it became eligible for a return. For…

Strong and durable magnets

My birthday is in January and I live in the snow belt. I had to replace my panels because they were rusted beyond recognition. Unfortunately both bolts on the back of my car broke and since the weather didn't allow drilling them I bought magnets to keep it legal. It's May now and the magnets hold up strong even during my daily commute. Absolutely no slipping. I am very impressed! I really don't want to drill out the screws because my panels look good as they are, but I think I have to for…
