I tried cleaning the small bristles on the mop which only worked for a while. I called Rubbermaid support, explained the problem and asked if I needed a new mop or just a new cleaning pad. I'm a cleaning freak and these are my favorite mop heads. I use the Reveal cleaning system and have purchased extra mop heads to clean my house in one day. I use about 1 pad per room because they get wet from the water/cleaning solution I spray on the floors and these pads don't work when very wet. I have washed and dried them many times and they still work very well. I will say that after a year or so of weekly wash cycles I prefer to use new pads, but that's only because I'm a cleaning…
