The picture is definitely misleading. The container is a lot smaller than it looks and this purchase will definitely come back. It also had missing parts, so the description is not correct at all.

I bought these to replace a set of glass travel containers. First, let me say, let's talk about discharge. They are so much lighter I guess now. Second, they don't spill if you have inserts in the bins. Although they are not glass, they are not stained either. I left the chili in one and the hot sauce in the other and washed both in the dishwasher. What I like best is that the rubber in the shaft does not fall out.

I like these containers very much. They are very transparent, durable and airtight. What attracted me to these containers: 1. I love glass containers, but glass is hard to carry around in a lunch bag. These containers are DURABLE.2. I had clear containers with colored lids. When I used these containers and refrigerated my food, it spoiled because I was too lazy to open the cloudy containers. Therefore, the top and bottom of the Rubbermaid Brilliance jar are transparent.

I've used these containers before and they're pretty good, they seem to be stain resistant, seal well and still have no cracks. I really should have looked at the measurements though. Photos are misleading and make you believe they are larger than they really are, especially salad and sandwich containers.
