Drainer is missing

This order should be missing a drainer. This device is small compared to other dish dryers and the dish compartment is particularly small. I ordered this one because it is black as the last one I had was stainless steel which rusted instantly. This one is just fine. It remains to be seen whether it will withstand daily use.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No form required

Long time disappointed Rubbermaid user

I have been using Rubbermaid dish drains for years and usually keep them until the rubber coating starts to peel off with age. I prefer them to the cheaper plastic versions at dollar and discount stores. This time, just a month later, a cut suddenly appeared in the drainer. It looks like someone took a saw and made a clean, even cut along the wire. I will continue to use it and just hope other flaws appear.

  • Always liked
Cons
  • Have a problem

I think with time that will all change.

Update.: It's been a little over a year since I replaced my 20 year old version and guess what, the new one is chipping and rusting. I'm so pissed. I wouldn't buy it for a year's use. I was expecting more 20. Super upset and disappointed. Original: I bought this to replace a 20 year old that was basically starting to rust where the plastic cover had come loose. Only three stars because the quality doesn't match my original. The wire is much thinner, lighter and while it fits perfectly in the…

Mine came with the missing items. what excites me

Pretty small. It's small enough to fit in a sink. small sink. No sink in the bathroom. But I expected it to be small. That's enough for one person. However, my kit didn't have a container for spoons, knives, forks, etc. So I bought a drying pad to place this along with many other pieces of crockery that just wouldn't fit there. And that's almost all. For me personally, that's not enough. But for now it works. I'm just upset that they didn't give me anything to hold the fork. That's why I gave 2

Doesn't look like the original dish dryer

I think I thought if I ordered a branded dish dryer like the Rubbermaid Antimicrobial Dish Dryer I would get at least the same quality and durability as previous Rubbermaid dish dryers bought. Unfortunately, this dish drying rack seems to be made of inferior metal under a rubber coating. The new dish drying rack has a rectangular cutlery holder where the cutlery fits under the top of the holder when there are not many items in it. The space between the dish racks is large enough for small items

  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Something different

Perfect for freeing up countertop space!

We bought this dish rack because we were tired of the cluttered countertop. I love to cook and I always have a kitchen that doesn't have enough countertop space to put a cutting board, ingredients etc. The dish drainer on the worktop definitely takes up the most space. This dish drying rack fits in your sink instead, so it has two major advantages over other types of dish drying racks: the first, as mentioned, is that it doesn't take up countertop space, which was a big concern for me. Second…

Smart design for storage and organization

I replaced an old Rubbermaid beige dish rack with this one. The reason for mentioning the color is because the black dryer's coating is thinner and feels a little firmer than the white and beige dryers I've seen. It's too early to tell if thickness matters. Two main issues with this upgraded unit: (a) If you don't use the rear cutlery holder as shown in the picture, you may want to hang it on the outside or side - you'll find that it doesn't have a wire base, and will therefore fall Dishes…
