I work exceptionally well with an 18-20" long x 5-8" wide microfiber dusting mop or damp mat. It has a tight seal that prevents spills when worn, great product.

The ad shows a photo with a mop when I got a plain bucket for so much money I couldn't believe it I thought it was a joke the bucket is still in the closet I' am a busy woman and don't have time to order and return things due to false advertising. Revane needs to look at these providers.

There is nothing the mops press against when you attach them to the mop head, so even with a small amount of solution in the bucket the mop stays very wet. I believe the other Rubbermaid microfiber mop bucket (the one with wheels) has a little room to push the mop down before removing it from the bucket.

We use the flat wipe system and have learned to use it differently. We buy a spray bottle of floor cleaner and spray it on the floor before mopping it. Personally, I really like using this system in place of an old cotton mop throwing all that dirty water around or dunking the mop in slightly muddy water. A flat mop cleans the floor very well. A great place to store my sanitary mop heads. The red fasteners work perfectly with the rubber seal in the lid and ensure a tight seal when used correctly. They snap into place as expected, but then you have to pull up towards the lid to latch them, which compresses the seal and makes it watertight.
