Purchased this item as part of my new foray into cured meats. Used to salt brisket in the refrigerator for 6 days. Beautifully performed!

The product description says that the pack contains 2 pieces. Didn't specify that the top is 1 piece, the bottom is another. I thought I had 2 sets above and below. misleading description.

I used it as a dip for my sous vide oven and it worked really well! I measured and cut a small insert in the lid to fit around the sous vide machine and the lid is still pretty sturdy.

Bought 2 of these and bought another model. They all had the same manufacturing defect which appears to be a mold error in the corner as there is no quality control. The molding leaves a large ridge in the corner of the container so the lid never closes flush. Especially for a $30 container. I bought 2 within 30 days hoping it was a production run but unfortunately the problem is still there.
