New batteries were not included in the kit so we went to buy batteries. He sprayed once and never again. Definitely NOT worth the price I paid for a useless device, a spray can I can't use and 2 C batteries I don't need right now. i feel ripped off

Installation instructions are illegible. When I tried to set the mode after looking at the instructions online I couldn't revise or change it or even turn it on and off. The cartridge I bought (Rubbermaid) didn't even go in the machine. Thank goodness I tried to install it before sticking it on the wall. Have returned this item.

My son just recently received a change to install this. If I buy the brand and spend more dollars on the model it might work. But my son says that the indicator does not appear on the display. I am very happy with it! Works perfectly. 05/21/2018. I have two of these dispensers, but the LumaCel battery stopped working on one. Doesn't charge. I still love them but I'm disappointed with the battery failure! I accidentally forgot to try C batteries and they work great. For this reason I changed my star rating to 4.

They say it can last 15 years without changing the battery if they offer Nickel Metal Hydride (Nimh) batteries. The battery life of this type is only 1 year regardless of usage due to battery life. You can't get 15 years, as the company states on its website. Stay away from this product, get the regular ones and just replace them with good old type C batteries. I've bought three of these and they're all only for a year.

Unit works great but be careful with battery questions. I read that it uses "d" cells, but it doesn't. It uses 2 "C" cells. The rest of the device works fine. This is the basic version, not the version described above. There is no way to customize it and the resupply gauge. The device is also very noisy when spraying. I had a previous model and it was pretty quiet, especially compared to this one. Can't say I'd recommend it but once again I was disappointed and ordered the $70 version and found it noisy too. This item has worked great for about a week and a half. I liked it very much. Thanks to this, the office always smelled nice. I liked the customization option to set it up in the way that works best for us. Then the battery light started blinking and the air freshener started beeping and stopped spraying the air freshener.
