🍶 Rubbermaid Mixing Pitcher 2 Qt. Translucent White - Convenient and Versatile Kitchen Essential Review

My favorite jug broke after many years and has been discontinued. So I tried to buy the same replacement item but for $75-$100. No way! So I tried the Rubbermaid look and it's just as good as my retro pitcher. Why? It requires additional hot liquids and will not break/crack or change shape. I say Rubbermaid is worth the money. I wasted X money trying other brands but they cracked through hot liquids or warped in the dishwasher. So I recommend Rubbermaid

The only disadvantage is that the star-shaped part of the jug cannot be replaced due to its wear and tear. At some point, after repeated washing in the dishwasher, the attachment point of the star part on the bottom breaks and the entire jug has to be replaced. This doesn't work well with frozen juice unless it's been thawed, but it's great for mixing up soda pop or anything else that's thawed. It's also great for keeping ice in the jug while pouring. This is great value for money. I bought this to replace a Pampered Chef Quick Stir Pitcher. I've had a jar of Pampered Chef for years and the lid was cracked so it was time to replace it. It's not that good, but for the price it does the job. The pitcher isn't entirely see-through, but you can still tell what drink is in the pitcher and the fast stirring mechanism gets the job done. Great product for the price, but next time I'll probably go for the Pampered Chef Quick Stir Pitcher.

I didn't notice the sizes. Barely 4 1/2 inches wide. The blender doesn't reach to the bottom so it doesn't mix as well as it could. I usually use a spoon first and then a blender if needed. The jar is strong, the blender is not. The faucet is definitely not made of durable hard plastic. It's a fragile kind that you feel like it would break if you use too much. But if you want a quick (small) bottle of lemonade that doesn't take up much space in your fridge, then this is perfect for you.
