I bought this item on a spur of the moment at the local grocery store. Bad impulse. I want three things from a water bottle with a straw: 1- I want to drink water whenever I want. The straw on this bottle is easy to detach, so you have to remove the lid to put the straw back in. Try it while running. 2- I don't want it to leak if it tips over. This one is leaking. 3- I want water to taste like water. This bottle gives the water an unpleasant aftertaste. I've used the bottle for several months…

It's tight and the hydration tube works well without drawing air. I bought a similar bottle (from another manufacturer) which had a built in drinking straw - its cap was only partially threaded making it difficult to fit the cap onto the bottle, the flip up and drinking nozzle also allowed for priming of air, the fact that the straw fits over the drinking nozzle rather than on top of it means the volume of liquid is limited by the nozzle's smaller internal diameter, and eventually the hard…
