I bought it to clean grout which it does very well. In addition, it is really good in battery consumption. I haven't had to change batteries since the first set.

After a few uses - spot cleaning of tiles/grout - no longer works. New batteries did not solve the problem. At the time it worked it was handy for light tasks as it reduced some of the effort required to clean small areas.

not as dramatic as some reviews, didn't fix my seam despite using several types of cleaners, brush action still works but if you really need to bleach go need to get a strong acid or cleaner - or just repaint (e.g. save effort and money because they're never as clean as new)

Throw away our toothbrushes, but if you're working on a tiled floor, keep your knee pads. My whole house is square tiled with the lightest grout, now dark. This, with the vinegar, boosted the color by about half. Tried grout cleaner, slightly better. I don't think there's any hope for my floors other than maybe a professional steam cleaning ($300!), but it's the next best thing. Perfect for small areas (bathroom etc.). worth $.

I used to use an old electric toothbrush. It has more power and better bristles for cleaning. The differently shaped brushes are also great. The tool does all the work and saves you elbows. Uses 4 AA batteries (which were included). Has a switch that can be slid to turn on and off, or you can press it in the off position for a moment as long as you hold it. The brush heads rotate to lock onto the tool. The old electrics work by themselves.

In fact, it lasts much longer because I can make longer brush strokes and quickly cover the grout while this electric toothbrush needs to be stored while cleaning. This is an amazing product! I love it. (And I'm a cleaning fanatic.) It does previously labor-intensive tasks like cleaning around the base of a faucet, cleaning the edges around the rim of a burner on a stovetop, cleaning crevices, and many, many other cleaning tasks. very easy!
