Incredibly quick and productive tool for developing cross-platform apps

I like how easy it is to get started with this framework. It's simple enough that you can just jump right into writing some code without having any prior experience but also powerful enough so that you don't need to worry about getting stuck or confused when things are more advanced than what you're used to. The documentation could be better at times, though - sometimes they seem to have outdated information, which makes figuring out where something has changed between versions difficult. That…

Pros
  • We're able to jump right into coding with no fuss
Cons
  • Sometimes the documentation is out of date, and the support forum at times gets quiet, so it can be difficult to get an answer to a problem when searching for help

RoboVM delivers most modern features in fastest time possible

The ability to use native code is very compelling when compared with other options like PhoneGap or React Native (which require writing all of your UI components from scratch). Pros
  • It’s easy enough even beginners can get started.
  • Great community
  • Compiling issues fixed relatively swiftly after contacting them about our problems, especially in regards compilation errors during application startup due mostly likely caused by missing assets files etc.
  • Easy integration into existing projects via plugins available through CocoPodium
