Seller must have different understanding of customs. I ordered a 12" hooded skirt but it came in 15". It's too long and looked ugly when I put it on. I returned it and bought another brand that also says 12" but it's actually 15". Both products were made in India. I don't know if in their measurements 12" is really 15" or if all 12" bed skirts are actually 15"?

I was very happy with the result and would recommend this product. Apparently I received a damaged one that slipped through unnoticed. The fabric is very good but the construction is not very good. Overall I was happy with this item at a relatively low price compared to other options I found. In the attached photo the product can be seen immediately after packaging, without washing, ironing and steaming. I plan to steam it to remove wrinkles. The fabric is soft and not too see through. The fabric that goes under the bed (i.e. the part that isn't visible) is either the same or a similar fabric as the visible part - it's not mesh like some other bed surrounds I've seen. I've looked at a lot of bed bumpers and after reading a lot of reviews I decided on this one. I ordered the standard king size and it fits my bed with the Select Comfort mattress system perfectly! Some reviewers said they either put it straight on the bed or wash it and then wear it without ironing. I washed my bed skirt, but I couldn't smooth out the creases.
