Yes it is a single glass mirror as others have mentioned. It feels very cheap and is made in China. Unfortunately, my glass broke when I opened the box. (Thanks Revain for the hassle free return!) I don't neglect this mirror because it has cracks, that's what happens with cheap brittle plastic items. If you're a serious SUV, this mirror isn't for you. I'm so tired of putting a mirror on my CJ's windshield; I've made it four or five times and put it in the display case once, but it kept falling in the southern Arizona heat. I ordered it and no more problems. Two downsides to this mirror: 1) It's not a day/night mirror 2) I was hoping that its holes would be the same as the holes in the Jeep CJ windshield frame for the center mounting loop, but no luck. This mirror will not technically work for TJ as only one screw is aligned. This can easily be remedied by filling in another hole OR as I did in the photo by clipping the mirror under the hinge. I found this creates enough pressure that it doesn't swing down and you don't have to drill another hole. I also have a dash cam mirror which adds extra weight and it seems to handle it well. For the money this thing is amazing. I have a '95 Bronco whose heavy-duty mirror recently decided to stop sticking to my windshield. The second time I used one of the adhesive kits, the mirror knob actually ripped a chunk off the windshield - somehow the glass instead of the adhesive failed under the onslaught of the desert sun.
