For the money this thing is amazing. I have a '95 Bronco whose heavy-duty mirror recently decided to stop sticking to my windshield. The second time I used one of the adhesive kits, the mirror knob actually ripped a chunk off the windshield - somehow the glass instead of the adhesive failed under the onslaught of the desert sun. I have no idea. Accordingly, I decided to mount this little guy with self-tapping screws and it helped. Remember this is a small mirror. So if you have a large SUV or similar, consider pairing it with one of the snap-on panoramic mirrors, which are also inexpensive. Thanks to this combination I can see all the way behind me and then some others. The only downside is that when the metal/plastic heats up, the mirror will move a bit, but this is due to the extra weight of the panoramic mirror. Available. If the thing cost 5€ more and was all metal, it would be 5 stars. Anyway, the socket is metal-plastic, which I think will eventually fail. But for $10 I'll just take another one. Excellent purchase!
