Check out the slats

Suitable for hollow doors. Just don't screw into the ribs on the door. The points drop off immediately. Must be pre-drilled. hollow part. no problem

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Make sure your door is really hollow

I made the mistake of using this on a non hollow door (just getting to know my house) and it made a HUGE HOLE and the tip snapped off. I'm sure if I hadn't made that mistake it might have worked. Pretty easy to use and install - IF you have the right door.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Secret

They are great for hollow doors

I used them to attach towel hooks to the back of a hollow door. You will not give up. I suggest using the low speed drill. Before fully installing, remove the excess wood around the screw with a utility knife, then finger tighten with a screwdriver.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Speed

Great product, best of drywall anchors

I use them on my daughter's bedroom door to keep our dog out of her room (he can open the door and get in, then close the door and get stuck) I've been worried because the hollow door wouldn't hold the latch without the ugly latch and nut on the other side. This will work great!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Almost never

Worked great - drywall anchors

When installed correctly they work beautifully even though they are expensive. Before you begin any project, go online and watch one of several videos that demonstrate proper installation. I also put glue on the threads of the screws and let them dry overnight before hanging anything on them.

Pros
  • a handy item
Cons
  • so far so good

Works well for hollow doors with little work.

. Excess material must be removed with a blade to allow the dowel to be flush before screwing it in all the way. You can also buy a pack of 20 for the same price at any local hypermarket. You also need to be careful when stringing two or more together to line them up due to the shape of the anchor and where it bites.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

If you have hollow doors, you need them.

I decided on 3 and 4 tier wire shelves that fit on the doors of several closets. Pantry, bathroom and various dressing rooms. This allows for great organization. I ordered these metal anchors for my first one and they are great. Of course I figured I already had some drywall plastic so they should fit. They don't repeat themselves, they don't. Spend a little to get these wonderful anchors.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Tricked the hollow door

My wife wanted bathroom door hooks for towels, robes etc. Bitter experiences made me search YouTube for help and found these anchors. I followed the directions to the letter and they have held up to several months of daily wear and tear and are as tight as ever. The video gave a good tip: after making the first hole and removing the anchor, use a box cutter to remove the comb at the hole. This will ensure the hook is flush with the door.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive
