Rugged Ridge 17756.31 AmFib Low/High Mount Snorkel System for Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU and Gladiator JT Review

Not only is this snorkel great for forging water, it's a great alternative to cold air intake. Before I quit I was averaging 15.5mpg and after installing it and driving it for a few hours my overall average went up to 21.9.

Expensive for such a cheap material, but effective. I installed and painted it myself, it was a first for both of them and I would say it was pretty easy, only took about 2 hours and didn't have to cut my jeep. I wouldn't do it if it was like that. You can factory reset it for whatever reason, which I think is a plus. I would recommend

I installed this kit a few months ago and last week noticed a significant gap between the snorkel adapter and the tube under the hood. I removed it but found that it "deformed" somehow. I contacted the company and they sent me a new kit. I installed it, then drove the jeep for about an hour and found the new snorkel was just as deformed as the original! This set needs some work. I suspect he needs a metal insert to reinforce the part pictured to keep it from warping. I'm not sure why this is…

Terrible quality. Installed in a brand new jt rubicon. All parts are made of cheap plastic. The gaskets that come with the snorkel box do not properly fill the gaps between the ports, leaving more than enough room for water or debris to enter the box. The foam gasket between the Jeep's snorkel knee and airbox was larger than part of the airbox and simply slipped over the parts, not between them, to seal the joint. resulting in one end of the piece of plastic collapsing due to its cheap plastic…
