These are sturdy little clips that seem to spring well. I was surprised at the resistance of their feathers. I haven't wired anything yet. I just received them a day or two ago. I thought the wire crimp area was a bit large. It looks like it could be wrapped around 22 gauge wire a few times and that can be problematic. If so, I'll just solder a cable to it.

Thank you for the opportunity to feedback: Each alligator clip had a broken jaw apparently due to the manufacturing process. They were forcibly closed so that one jaw twisted into the opposite jaw and got stuck there; requires opening the jaws with a miniature screwdriver. They were clamped so tightly that attempts to force them apart by "unclamping" in their intended position, like the usual means of spreading the jaws apart, proved futile.
