Exactly what I was hoping for. If you replace the V-brake, you will need a new brake cable. Order now to get them together. I forgot, then I bought a Jagwire cable with a case. I am very happy with the whole set. I would buy brakes and cables again.

The caliper fits my bike perfectly and installs in minutes. The quality and construction appear to be good, but I've only had it installed for a few days so I can't say how well it will hold up over the long term. The brake material works the same as the caliper that originally came on the bike.

100% satisfied with the price. I've never used disc brakes on a bike before, but this kit looks great. It doesn't look super expensive. No precise finish or surface finish, the parts fit together a little more "loosely" than I would imagine a much more expensive caliper would be. But it seems to work fine and will do the job of converting a rim to a disc cruise. It feels heavy and I believe it's steel so it should hold up well.
