Description of RUPES SKORPIO Random Orbital Sander

The Skorpio III is what every random orbital sander operator needs, an extremely quiet tool that has tremendous power and low vibration. The newly designed pneumatic Skorpio III is the quietest random orbital sander in its class. Further, it comes in a choice of orbit sizes to fit your particular application. The throttle lever is designed to support the operator’s wrist during operation and actually fits perfectly into the tool body to eliminate “pinch points”. The internal balancing of the components results in extremely low vibration and the double row bearings insure greater life and smoother operation.

Highly Efficient and Reliable Sander

As a hesitant buyer, we were blown away by the RUPES SKORPIO Random Orbital Sander. Based on our own experience, this sander is an impressive piece of Industrial and Scientific equipment. Its powerful motor and lightweight design made our sanding process incredibly efficient and easy. The sander was also very reliable, offering a smooth and consistent finish to our materials. The only con we found was its slightly high price point, but the quality of work it provides justifies the investment…

Pros
  • Powerful and effective on all types of surfaces, including hard woods and metal.
Cons
  • May vibrate excessively during extended use, causing fatigue in the hands and wrist.

Poor quality hard pad

Overall a good DA but after a week of use the outer part of the velcro on the hard pad is already loose and can't even hold sandpaper at full speed. Poor quality hardcover. Hope for a replacement.

Pros
  • power tools
Cons
  • dull packaging

Worth the money in Power & Hand Tools

I don't own it personally but I use it at work in my body shop. This thing spins so smooth and feels oily in your hand lol it's really hard to explain. I've been using 3m for years, saw Justin sitting on a shelf at work and decided to give it a try. I only use the hard back at work now

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Skimpy Manual
