We just ordered these for my four year old's first dance class. I measured her foot at 160mm and according to the "best fit" guidelines for shoe sizing, I went up two sizes. At 160mm she would have been a size 9.5 so I ordered an 11. They were slightly longer in the toes when I first put them on her but by tightening the laces the entire shoe stretched to the perfect size for she small foot. . My daughter has the same foot shape as me and when I did ballet I always preferred sold out shoes so…

The store recommends buying 2 sizes larger, but it seemed excessive. My canvas shoes always fit my feet so I bought my daughter a size up but they were too big. The only thing I would recommend for my kids is to buy shoes that are normal size and then exchange them if they don't fit. My daughters are very small, so I didn't care if the shoes fit her or not. after all she still wears her church slippers to dance lol. But maybe the size problem is a godsend! I received it as a gift. You were a great success! They have quite a bit of padding in the sole so they are comfortable for little feet. They are somewhat easy to come by. The 3 year old I bought them for needs a little help getting dressed. But they are very cute and stay on their feet. She's not going to ballet classes yet due to Covid and such, but I've taught her some basics. So I have no idea if they are approved by the dance class or not. But for the price and for the smile on her face…
