Daughter loves it, I'm happy.

I bought this item for a girl so I expected it to be a little big for her. This sweatshirt is thick and hasn't faded after two washes. I'm giving it four stars because it shrinks a bit in the wash. Daughter loves it, I'm happy.

It's warm and looks good, good value for money

I ordered this for my 9 year old son and he loves it. It keeps you warm and looks good, a good deal for the price. This isn't a 5 star product because I've seen nicer and more comfortable sweatshirts, but for the price it's a good deal. About the seller: Arrived on time and in perfect condition, fast shipping, much appreciated.

Wash first! - Boys

, the cut and the material. However, I forgot to wash it first as my son was delighted to wear it. I wore it to church over a starched white shirt which he had to enter and when he took off his jacket all you could see was the blue fur on that shirt. Luckily we had some blue tape and used it to remove the lint from his white shirt! Now I'll wash it before he wears it again!

excellent except for the color I ordered

Jacket looks great, fits a child without adding bulk. Thought it would be a little bigger. I ordered a dark blue sweatshirt, received a dark blue (black) one. The child's tags have already been removed so it's too late to return them and they are needed for school. In particular, order the navy to match the uniform. The child says everything will be fine, but this is not an approved uniform color.

These are excellent jackets

I bought this jacket for my granddaughter for school. She wears a uniform and can only wear certain colors and no logos, so finding the perfect jacket was difficult. I found them and they are a perfect fit for an 11 year old girl. Although it was a boy's jacket, it fit perfectly. They also come in other colors that she could wear. It washes well and doesn't seem to fade. Great for kids at school and inexpensive.

The quality is excellent compared to the price. This sweatshirt is very thick and warm. My son is 15 years old, 135 and 5ft 7in tall and this jacket is a bit big for him as he prefers to wear his clothes 1.5 sizes smaller than normal. While it's a little big for his liking, I still think it's a good purchase, especially if your kid (or you) prefers wearing sweatshirts to a heavy coat in the winter.

If I can find clothes that actually FITS me and don't look like they were made for a lanky teenager, I do it I LOVE them.In the future I will be contacting this manufacturer for additional clothing.UPDATE: This sweatshirt has been washed several times and is still like new.The zipper is very strong and secure.I am so pleased with this manufacturer's product that I am about to bought a different color.

You can't go wrong with Russell Athletic. The material is thick enough not to get too hot in cool weather. I have a very naughty child of 11 years old. He complained that other brands' jackets or jogging pants looked weird on the inside after washing (the pilling that comes with the cheaper material) and ended up refusing to wear them. Never with this brand. This jacket is easy to wash and has no material defects. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a well made lightweight zip…
