I rarely write reviews unless I really think the item is worth it. So I find this article really worthwhile! ;) Before I decided to buy this t-shirt, I prepared very carefully and decided to buy it for the following reasons: 1- Softness 2- Heavy (in a good way) 3- Cold (in a good way ). So you can't go wrong with that.

I love this brand, slightly thicker and softer short sleeve shirts. It's incredibly good for baseball practice and never breaks when sliding across the plate. It fits loosely for an average build and waist length for someone who is 5'10" and 110 lbs. This is not a summer t-shirt, it is too thick for the southern US weather. But as a normal sports shirt, it fits perfectly.

I've finally worn out all but one shirt in twenty years. I ordered two of these because I can't make polyester blends and they claimed it was 100% cotton and I disagree with that statement. They are soft but have a touch of polyester because they are hot to wear because they are not breathable like old fashioned cotton. I will continue my hunt.

I have 10 year old Russell t-shirts in better quality and condition than this one. This shirt is so thin compared to previous luxurious MADE IN AMERICA. When it stopped being made in America, the quality went away. That's why I only bought one to try and never bought another, also the originals were a bit too big and it looks like it belongs to a small person. I have a 32 waist, my chest is small and the average size is too small. So sad what happened to Russell.

I don't know what ring-spun cotton is, but you're right - this shirt is so much more comfortable than any other shirt I own, and I'll be making it in a range of colors to buy. It's the ideal weight and I love that the shirt has a gray fabric that runs down the back of the neck (see picture) so I can easily tell how to put the shirt on in the mornings with barely open eyes. I have other shirts where the printed label rubs off and it's hard to tell how the shirt is being worn, but this gray…
