I had bought another kind of tension rod first, the kind you just pull apart and don’t have to twist. It would not stay up, after several attempts. We would think we "locked” it okay and then it would immediately fall. But this rod (which is the traditional style we’re used to, where you twist the bar until it gets to length) works. And the twisting step only took a minute and was easier than I remember. This one was also nice because the end caps twist off, making it easier to put the curtain…

Nice rod, strong and good looking but the paint came right off when I removed the rod on the second day. NOT HAPPY ! The rod may be difficult to install for those without handyman experience!

Liked the the strength, steadiness and easy installation of these rods where you don't have to use screws with That's my review.

This replaced a cheaper version that wouldn't stay in place. Much happier with this one. It doesn't fall down. Thanks for attention.

I purchased this rod to hang shears and it worked out great. It is sturdy and it held them with no issues. I bet it could hold a pretty heavy drape. It had rubber tips on the ends to keep it from sliding. It was also packed very well.

This shower rod is easy to install; it's not the heaviest material, but for the price, it will do to use in a bathroom that is not used often.

This works just fine, once it's put in place - but there's not a lot of spring to it - you need to get it where you want it and then screw it "out" to tighten it into place - don't count on the spring. That said, it does the job and the end pieces are stylish. Recommended - but not "springy".

I bought a shower curtain for my master shower for the first time since I bought my home 14 years ago. Used the shower, without a curtain, to house two litter boxes. Long story about the boxes that were moving rooms. Not to worry.the felines are fine! I really like the white rod. It compliments my new curtain.

My brother had installed a bigger, more expensive double rod. Every time I hung a towel on it it fell. Or it fell just to scare everyone. I "installed” this myself and it hasn’t fallen once. With several towels draped on it.

There must be a real movement to change tension rods with Non-Spring types. I must have bought four in the stores in the last month, only to return each one because non spring tension rods do not work. This is the real deal, if you’ve searched like I did, just know to look for "Spring Tension” in the description and you won’t be disappointed. Very well built and won’t fall down! Never thought I’d be praising a standard shower rod but I am.

This product matched perfectly with bathroom but even when secured to the wall tightly, it came crashing down in the middle of the night. Apparently, something is wrong with the plastic parts on the ends of it that are supposed to help it stick.

Used as a window curtain rod, it takes a bit to get it tight enough to hold the curtains. I used lighter curtains as heavier ones seemed to not stay in place as well.
