🪟 H697 RV Designer, Hehr Style Window Latch with Double Pane, Upgraded Interior Hardware Review

This was a direct fit to the windows of my double glazed SeGi RV. The hole pattern is 2 1/4 inches, not 2 1/2 as I've read on several posts.

This was the perfect replacement for the broken latch on our Hehr window. Can't complain too much. . . The original locking lasted 20 years. While replacing the latch, clean the lower window rail to make the window easier to close.

This is for a van. I have completely renovated my Adventure mh 35 ft. last thing. window lock. The supplied screws are too long. Broke my tempered glass into a million pieces. 6 weeks to remove the box. I had to find glass with plexglass. hope it lasts Only use the short screws you pulled out or you'll regret it as much as I did.

No one can predict what size bolt your bus manufacturer (etc) chose to use in the original fitment. This is almost never included, so do yourself a favor and keep your original screws. . Otherwise they have worked great on all the double glazed Hehr windows on my 2006 National Sea Breeze 8360lx.

This didn't match the existing one but the screw holes matched and that was the important thing. the right size. I also had to sand the latch a bit. It was too wide to fit properly. Overall I'm very satisfied as I couldn't find an exact match and this one works great with the above mods.

These are standard window latches on several motorhome models. There are 6 of them on mine and they are all over 30 years old. I replaced them all and finding them at a great price gave me the motivation to complete this project. Good quality product with all hardware included. If access to the screw heads is restricted, overlap the window sections by placing a thick piece of cardboard between the screws and the glass. I bought this to replace an old shutter version (2006 Lazy Daze). The part fits perfectly and aligns with the existing screw holes. I was a bit skeptical. Because the dimensions given are incorrect. The part actually measures about 2" x 0.75" with the latch closed. My original part was the type with the lever mounted on top and fully visible.
