Good availability for electricians

Cannot find it commercially. The value is excellent. When you find them in stores, they are sold in individual packages. The costs are twice as high. Install neck pain. You will need a very large flat head screwdriver.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Will be added later

Difficult to install into wall panels

Works well once installed. But it is very difficult to install. I had to ask my father to come and help me install it. It took him 30 minutes to set this thing up. You will need a special tool to easily place the wires where you need them. But I didn't want to pay $40 for a one-time install.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Need a special tool to install!

This was a great price on a replacement socket. Nice and small enough to fit in RV walls. Unfortunately I had to send them back as the problem is that you need a special tool to install sockets like this. Don't worry if you don't already have the tool. It looks like the right tool costs anywhere from $40 to $100.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great product, fits wall plates

I gave it five stars for its ease of installation and I have to point out that it's very difficult to back insert 12 gauge wire but at least I know it's very reliable there. Normally I would run 14 gauge wire, but I had already purchased 12/2 wire prior to purchasing the outlets and everything was already wired. I was planning on using 20 amp outlets but bought stand alone 15 amp outlets instead.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Blank

You must have a TOOL.

The socket looked like a socket and if I had the right tool to install it it would probably be fine. He went into the hole and seemed strong enough. But this tool is expensive and hard to come by, and MacGyvering's efforts won't help install it. I ended up sending it back and got an electrical box, a regular household outlet and a small saw. It was cheaper and installed in about half an hour with regular tools.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Buyers beware of installation difficulties

I had an electric license and installed countless outlets. It took me an hour and a half because I didn't have the "tool" mentioned somewhere in the ad that I hadn't seen before ordering. For heaven's sake, it's an outlet. Wrap the wire around the screw or just slide it into the slot and you're done. Not this one. I found a video of a guy using a flathead screwdriver and his hand to drive it into the slots. It was cable #12, not #14, and it wasn't mentioned anywhere. The connector I removed had

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
