Direct replacement for the old lock on my 1999 motorhome

Reused old pins and lock plate with new lock assembly. Fits slightly cropped (originally this was not done to fully open the opening. There is no deadbolt lock or part of it over the pins on this lock finish, the pictures are WRONG. Only 2 pins and a deadbolt.

Very well designed product

As mentioned before you will need to make some minor modifications to fit your old motorhome. I used nothing but one file. This device is very well built and the construction is much sturdier than before. The lock on the outside works well and the lock handle on the inside is easy to use.

Requires modification for block

Used in an older 2001 National SeaView Class A motorhome. Assembly was difficult due to the twist lock lever! Had to cut two thirds of the pan handle to free the door frame so it could be unlocked before the door was closed. Aside from taking an hour to create the mod, it was easy to install.

Close, but no cigar.

T505 "Front door lock without bolt" ordered and received. Very well made and even better than the original door handle. It fits easily and seamlessly into the original door cutout. However, the locking plate supplied with this unit is for the latch model and cannot be used with the T505 and the plate mounting screws are not included. The alignment slots on the original plate are too narrow. I have an email from RVDesigner asking for a solution.
