Description of 🔧 RVAQUA M11-45PSI RV Water Pressure Regulator - Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Reducer with 160 PSI Gauge, Inlet Stainless Screened Filter for Camper

Universal Fitment with Dual-layer Inlet Filter - Designed with 3/4" garden hose threads & NH threads, compatible with All US water sources. DUAL-LAYER inlet screened filter helps to filter particles like gravel, debris to prevent impurity blocking and valve body damage. Lead Free Brass, Safer and Healthier - Class C46500 LEAD-FREE BRASS treated by hot casting process technology. Tested to meet NSF lead-free requirements of less than 0.25%, which can inhibit bacterial growth Effectively. This regulator was modified to contain lowest amount of lead of any regulator on the market;. Stainless Steel Gauge with Explosion-proof Plug - Better shock, dust and water leaking resistance than plastic shell gauge on the market. The build-in oil damps sudden pressure changes to damage the gauge. In case of water pressure exceeds the capacity, the Explosion-proof plug can prevent water spraying out from the end of the hose. Adjust Water Pressure from 0-160PSI - Adjustable water pressure setting can easily adjust whatever water pressure you want (from 0-160PSI, Preset at 45PSI) by screw driver. Removable Valve Spool and Easy to Use - Compact size for easy to use, the removable valve spool for easily cleaning or replacement when needed by removing it. NOTE: In order to protect the sealing performance of the product, professional expert is highly recommended!

Terrible company - BUT NOT THIS PRODUCT!

DO NOT BUY! I bought it in May 2019 and used it for a few months and then it broke. The indicator went to zero. I had to pay for the return shipping ($12 for shipping). They sent me a new one and the same thing happened again and since the warranty has only expired for a month they won't do anything for me. Is this a horrible company with horrible customer service? DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • No Power

Well made regulator

I looked at a few regulators online and this one is a little better for the same price. It arrived on time and looks as advertised. The output was 40psi so I set it to 45. I noticed an increase in pressure several times, but later dropped to this level. My guess is that the increase in pressure is due to the hose heating up before the valve opens. Will follow up.

  • Decent work

Failed. Water damage

Failed! On our seventh trip. About 30 minutes after adjusting the regulator during stock build, I happened to walk by the regulator and noticed that the gauge read zero. I entered the trailer to check the water pressure. What I found was a geyser coming out of the tub! A faulty pressure regulator resulted in all the pressure entering my van and ripping the line from the back of the toilet.

Took a month, good for water hoses and fittings

Made of very cheap brass and very thin. Ours cracked a month after purchase and started leaking. And no, it's not cold. The weather was +40 at night and +60 during the day. It just cracked and started spouting water. As good as this thing looks, it's junk. It won't last. I went to Ace Hardware and bought a quality pressure regulator for about the same price. The difference was obvious when we got the same from Ace. I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS, IT IS ONLY.

Pros
  • Alright!

  • Long delivery time

Controller defective!

I received this regulator around November 10, 2018. It couldn't be configured, it didn't work from the start. I called the seller and they happily replaced it. Got a new one a few days later. This one was adjustable, but if you set it to 45 pounds the pressure will creep up until it hits 70. Very difficult to set up and it just doesn't work. That's two regulators in three weeks, and both have failed. I don't know what to think because these controls all look the same, but I'll try another…

Pros
  • High quality finish
Cons
  • Something else

We have had this regulator for over a month, delivery and everything about the order is great. It is installed on our motorhome and is the perfect size to get in the way of the wet room door without having to make any modifications. My last one didn't fit and was told to put it on the outside hose connector. Somehow I left him early one morning as he left our camp. Our new RV reads 50psi or less, my new pressure regulator is adjustable so I made a simple adjustment of 40psi and now we have…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Exchange option

SLIM BLADES, cracks in factory installed hose fittings

Works, I think I have a bad one, I've noticed it drips every time I use it, I fill our 52 and 46 tanks with fresh water, we have had enough of it for a long time. So I didn't plug it in all the time when we were powering our camper. I suspected it was a loose hose. I recently stayed connected to city water and the drip turned into a spray. I found a growing crack at the outlet end where the fitment threads into the body. Of course, this is outside the return window. I just bought the Camco…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Product gets 4 stars, customer service gets 5 stars.

Product gets 4 stars, customer service gets 5 stars. The regulator worked well and withstood 40psi for several weeks until the cold snap hit Florida. Then the gauge started giving erroneous readings in the 50-60 psi range. Then we had another cold snap and he showed 60-65 psi. No pressure difference can be felt from the tap. Put another regulator in front of it and still read 65psi, giving an incorrect reading. Removed the regulator and the gauge showed 23psi with no connection, all is clear…

High effort! No line break!

This regulator was installed in the service bay on my 32ft RV. I bolted it directly to the water inlet and then supported it by wire attaching a metal shelf with bolts to the duct wall and next to the inlet side of the regulator. I then installed quick disconnects on it and my water supply hose. The only drawback is the supposedly high-quality manometer. When connected to my house plumbing, the pressure gauge reads 37 pounds of static pressure. I happen to know that the actual system pressure…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues
