Easier installation than other brands with some flaws

Overall the plug is performing better than ones I found at home depot and lowes. The plug provides enough space inside the assembly to feed the wires through. The issues I noticed is everything being plastic once you try to tighten the screws can easily strip the plastic causing the bottom where the cable enters the plug not to fully shut.

Pros
  • Easy add tonthe cable. It has worked with no issues so far.
Cons
  • Definitely not designed for use with #6awg wire...

Saved our camping trip

Easy to install and sturdy, only problem back of plug has a little handle thing which is great but it doesn’t fit in our camper hole for the electrical plug, we can’t shut the compartment- we purchased as a spare as our electric cord was getting old. Last camping trip we plugged the old one in and it started smoking thankfully we had this! Cut the old plug off and connected this one. Good to go!

Pros
  • Just got it
Cons
  • May not fit into all RV storage compartments due to its size

30 amp RV male replacement plug.

Quality 30 amp RV male plug. Used to make a quad heavy duty extension cord. Can utilize the 30amp outlet if we are plugged in to the 50 amp.Don't use it for anything heavy duty other than our electric skillet, but also allows us to have adequate power available for tent campers around us.

Pros
  • This plug worked very well.
Cons
  • The green color could be a target for thieves who are looking to steal RV equipment

Exactly what I expected

Got what we needed 20$ less than from the RV allegedly "affordable” & "discount” places. We feel like champs for saving the 80 miles round trip back from Wichita Falls TX to our little town where ppl do use driving lawn mowers, go carts, 4wd Razors, ATCs, ATVs, go carts, cars *snort*, even horses to get to the market! lol we are grateful for the honest deal❣️🤠

Pros
  • ‎Abs
Cons
  • The plug may slowly deteriorate over time with extended use

Works as expected: my feedback

One note. The pins in this plug come out. This is a good and bad thing. Its nice because it makes some things easier to complete but at the same time it makes them a little difficult to work with.

Pros
  • It works. The wires were a little difficult to install, because it’s very tight inside.
Cons
  • The plug is not compatible with all RV generators

Do NOT Purchase - Spend the extra to get a better plug

Spend the extra to get a better plug. For a plug targeting RV'ers, it could at least be weather proof but it is NOT. The included instructions even state for it to be used in Dry locations only. Not many RV'ers camping inside. The molding is thin plastic. The screws to re-assemble the plug, screw into the plastic housing making it very easy to strip out. Be warned. Most importantly, my concern is its advertised rating of 30amps which I feel is pushing it. 20amps maybe, but close to 30 the plug…

Pros
  • 👍
Cons
  • Could potentially cause an electrical shortage if installed improperly

Far superior to the original equipment on my Jayco

Plugs seem to be very well constructed was easy to install time will tell how long it lasts. I’m a full-time RV’r. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • cheap screws
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all RV battery systems
