Torn inside after 3 months!

The shoes are really comfortable, but they tear. Yes I wear them almost every day and yes I walk a lot but for the price I don't expect them to break after 3 months. The inner shank on the heel is torn so the hard part sticking out at the back is about to poke a hole in my sock. Before that I had Sketchers and they lasted a year. I was hoping that the RYKA would be a better quality shoe but no such luck.

Designed by women for women

I ordered these shoes for my sister who had foot problems so severe that she could not even stand on her feet. That was a problem as she is in class all day. She went to a podiatrist, who recommended several other brands of shoes, each costing over $100 a pair. I offered her Raikas and she was able to walk and stand all day without pain. She is wearing a fourth pair and brought them to her doctor, who now recommends them to his patients.

WHY have I never considered RYKA?

I've had terrible sneakers and bought a lot including Brooks. While the Brooks were pretty good overall, the latest pair was utterly Soviet in looks and comfort. I was browsing and came across them. There is a difference when buying shoes for women. Not only do they look beautiful and flattering, they are dream dresses! The support is amazing all day long. While you think I'm going for a walk, I should be wearing trainers. You put it on and think: Hey! I am going for a walk! An added bonus for…

Great for footwork

Let me start by saying I found these in D** but they weren't my size. My sometimes size 8.5 was too small. Thank goodness I found them at Revain because I knew they would be the perfect shoe for my navy nurse uniform. Fit - Order 1/2 size larger than your usual size. You walk a little less. Broad. I often wear wide shoes and they fit medium wide. In fact, I have to lace them pretty tight. The colors are beautiful. Though not heavy, they outweigh my light temper. Memory foam sockliner offers a…

The memory foam is amazing, the toe box is narrow

I bought these shoes for everyday running. I was looking for COMFORT. I have running shoes and running shoes. but I wanted something to stand, shop, run errands. These are perhaps the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever worn on my feet. The memory foam is amazing, they are super cute and sporty. I have a grey-coral colour. The gray is darker and the coral is lighter/deeper than the picture, which I like. I give four stars because the shoes are very narrow in the toe area. It's like the…

Comfortable, stylish and affordable sneakers

I have been buying Ryka sneakers for many years. And I'm over 60! My first Rykas were Radiants and I probably bought 7 or 8 pairs. Last year I bought Ryka Devotions and two weeks ago I bought Ryka Sky hiking shoes. I walk a lot and change out of my running shoes (currently Radiants, Devotion and Sky Walking) which I wear to work every day. The Ryka shoes provide support and make me feel like I'm walking on clouds. In addition, they are not expensive. I've worn them on vacation in the US, in…

Save money and buy more expensive shoes; You're paying for them anyway

Based on the number of 5 star reviews on the product I thought these shoes would be great. NOT CORRECT! I walk up to 3 miles every night so I needed good walking shoes. After 3 walks in this shoe I developed plantar fasciitis. I thought "I'm overworking" and actually had to go to the podiatrist and take a pack of steroids to get relief. While waiting for the doctor, my feet started to hurt. So that I can go up to 2 liners. One for plantar fasciitis and one for foot pain. I spoke to dr. School…

Surprisingly disappointing

I was wearing a bright orange Saucony Cohesion 9 hiking shoe and wanted to find a new pair, less 'neon'. Unfortunately, shoe manufacturers seem to think that "hiking shoes" are only worn by people in their 70's, and they want their shoes to look like orthopedic shoes (no disrespect, especially if you're 70 and want fun sneakers). Whether everything is white, brown or black. But no problem, if you want to look stylish, fun, young, etc. you're practically out of luck. I found them and didn't…

Comfortable but not durable

I bought my first pair of these shoes in store in August 2017. After wearing them for 5 months to go to cardio/fitness a few times a week I was so happy with them that I bought a second pair from Revain to wear to the gym so I didn't have to wear my shoes all the time had to get dressed time for walks in the gym bag. Yesterday after a 2.5 mile walk I had pain in the ball of my left foot and felt like something was stuck in my shoes. When I investigated I found a hole in the fabric and a hole in
