Not bad, but two small points should be noted. The keyless chuck has a two-piece outer sleeve that requires two hands to tighten. I have another Ryobi drill that is a little newer and only requires one hand. I use a P209 as a screwdriver and rarely change bits, so it's not a big deal, but it's something to consider if you change bits often. Again, not a big deal, but it's a handy feature in my other workouts.
Arrived quickly, inserted Ryobi battery from another Ryobi tool and it worked as expected. Although it didn't come with a manual, I downloaded it online with no problems. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that I am unable to register the P209 Bare with Ryobi as it is sold by a third party and Ryobi does not accept repair guarantees. As a light user, this isn't a problem for me, barring a small disappointment, but it might be a problem for another buyer.
I love twisting things, and I mean absolutely profanity-free in a way. You can throw away the 7 electric screwdrivers you bought that don't quite work and the drill you bought from Revain's warehouse where the security doesn't work. I use it for both drilling and screwing. Works perfectly. It has an adjustable ring (maybe torque and speed or just torque?). You turn it down to zero for the screws - and then if you inevitably get stuck, you can turn up the torque until you're driving this drywall
