Exactly as the title says. Rubber inner layer with plastic outer and enough lip to prevent cracking the screen in it lands on a flat surface. I have only cracked my screen once when I dropped it on gravel anyway. I love the brightg color. I work in the woods, so the dark earth tones are hard to see. May want to grab a screen protector with it, but I don't really see the need with that lip unless you plan to tote it on gravel often.

I love this case. It is pretty and it protects my phone. It is much easier to hold it with this on. I don't have young kids who play with my phone, so it has done everything that I need. It stays put but isn't impossible to get off, like so many others.

The case is super cute. It's colors and pattern are as described but it seems just a tad too big for my Samsung Galaxy S8. My phone doesnt slide in the case and it is snug up top but the bottom is either too flimsy or just not snug enough. Also don't get this case if you want to slide it into your pocket, the ridges make it a little difficult. But it is perfect for a grip.

Out of the blue at dinner last night my boss' boss, a gentleman, complimented me on how pretty the case was. I'd say that's a rave review, wouldn't you?It is made as well as any other case I've had, two layers, the one closest to the phone is rubbery, the outer layer a hard shell. The top and bottom of the phone only have the rubbery cover so that may be a drawback for some folks. I drop my phone frequently and so far this asn't been an issue. I feel confident it won't be, as I prefer a rubbery

I have dropped my phone many times without breaking. I have had this case for two months and get many compliments on how nice it looks. Mine is a touch long but it still works just fine.Update: My rubber case is a little long and not protected on the short ends by the plastic case. After a year of ownership the rubber has ripped on the ends. I must replace the case as it no longer protects the phone.
