It worked as advertised

The device is easy to use and more importantly it works. Cloning a 256GB M.2 SSD takes 5-10 minutes. I am completely satisfied.

User-friendly Dual Clone PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD Dock

This is a high quality Sabrent Dual Clone PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD Dock. Offline cloning is easy and fast. We use it to set up several laptops at school. It is durable and requires no tools. Active cooling dissipates heat.

Okay but there are a few annoying quirks

If Revain would let me I'd give this a 3.5. First of all, the included USB cables are only about 16 inches long, so be prepared to buy/find longer cables if using this item with a desktop computer. The USB-C connector on the back doesn't match the hole in the case, so plugging in the cable is a hassle. The drive is noisy, which is normal given the active cooling, but the fan keeps spinning after the system shuts down. This may not be a problem for some, but my computer is often set to shut down

Built like an aluminum tank to keep you cool and fast. The built-in clone feature is a big plus!

I was looking for an external NVME M.2 USB enclosure and came across this. It is quite expensive but has built-in cloning function and aluminum cooling tank. So far I've cloned an NVME drive and it worked as it should. The built-in fan is a little louder than we'd like, but for such a small case that can fit 2 NVME M.2 drives, it's better to have something to keep them cool during installation and use. This is my guardian for future NVME cloning and in some cases as my simple external USB NVMEโ€ฆ

Buy it you won't regret it

This Sabrent standalone clone hard drive is excellent and hassle free, I've cloned hard drives before but it was as easy as set and forget. I originally returned this product because it didn't clone my new Samsung NVMe 980 pro gen 4. After returning it I haven't found out that it's a common problem with Samsung drives as 1TB drives are a bit smaller, I mean we're talking a few MB than the original drive from the laptop. The instructions state that it will not clone a drive that is smaller thanโ€ฆ

This is a great cloning device. The destination disk must be larger than the source disk.

I have a 2017 HP Specter 360 that was having issues with its USB-C charging port. The problem was that the laptop was powered off and wouldn't turn back on. I bought a computer toolkit from Revain to open up the laptop so I can store data on a 1TB M.2 NVME SSD in case I can't get the laptop working again. Then I bought a Samsung 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVME M.2 1TB drive. As it turns out, the original Samsung factory installed drive was 1TB, 952.82GB to be exact, while the new 980 Pro is 931.50GB andโ€ฆ
