Worked great to avoid contact with my shock absorbers

Perfect for my 2014 Honda Shadow Spirit. I was trying to find a kit that wouldn't hit my shocks and it's half the price of the specific ones that fit.

They fit. But other equipment is needed.

They are doing their job. I love that you can flip them at will. The only downside is that the bolts that came with the installation kit didn't fit my bike. I had to go to the hardware store to get the right size.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Miss Host, confusing, confusing.

I was very dissatisfied with this item. Very vague, no instructions. 6 metal rods and some nuts and bolts. How the hell do you know where they go without directions? I couldn't understand. That's why I'm sending it back.

Wrong size screws and washers.

For Honda VT750 for saddlebags. There were screws that were the wrong size to attach to the frame. There are also no washers for screws. The kit did not include screws to attach the lower cross member to the offset brackets. So I had to buy larger bolts and washers for the frame and bolts to attach the lower cross member to the offset brackets. chrome plated Four screws and washers cost more than a set.

Read to the end! best in saddlebags

They are not stainless steel as described. The welds are of poor quality, rust is visible in all seams. The bolts didn't fit my '99 Wide Glide. The connections at the bottom are abrasive and will damage all bags. I didn't expect good quality for such a price, but I didn't expect such poor quality either. I tried installing it with my own hardware and it pushed against the rear caliper so much that the rear brake stopped working due to the pressure shift. That's right, this product, if installed

could use a guide.

Usually you need to know what to do when you receive it. There are no instructions. they only *barely* fit my VTX 1800c. And I mean simply. But they worked. Also, when purchasing, be prepared to use or purchase existing screws. The screws were too small. and chances are you will need spacers and if you do you will need to buy them separately too. I would have given five stars if it weren't for this and the lack of instructions. I also suspect they will need to be tightened over time. Unless you
