They are great for chairs. All you have to do is come up with a cover you like so the stickiness doesn't get on your chair or skin/clothes. I don't know if it's because this gel is a better, softer gel or because I use my own coatings and they don't harden on contact with a gel. but my naughty glutes/hamstrings are so happy with this pad that they've rejected every other one I've tried.

Decided to redesign the home seat. Haven't used this yet but it's thick and seems durable. It's sticky so I can put something underneath (under the vinyl seat cover) just in case.

I knew this was designed for a motorcycle but it was the only one I could find that came close to what I needed. I ride my mountain bike long distances, just attach it to the seat and off you go. What you get is not what is shown, you get a blue object in the shape of a rectangle with one side wider than the other. It's also very sticky, which I found bad at first, but it keeps it in place! So I would recommend to anyone looking to add a small gel pad to their pedal bike seat.
